Saeed Institute (formerly known as ‘Inner Dimensions’) began in 2013 in Bolton, UK, as a small community organisation dedicated to bring traditional Islamic courses, lectures and events to a Northern working-class community. The intention was to revive Islamic knowledge and Prophetic ethics and stir in people a love and desire to become better Muslims. Muslims who were educated, literate and understood Islam in a way which made it relevant and applicable in modern Britain.

The Muslim communities in the Northwest have traditionally given much of their focus to the STEM disciplines, and consequently the arts, humanities and specifically the Islamic disciplines have not been given the importance they deserve. They are many a times being taught in seminaries and environments fully cut off from the world and society, leading to an understanding and practice of Islam that is sometimes at an unnecessary friction with the Western world and British culture.

After nearly a decade, in September 2022, we took a giant leap to create a world class teaching and education organisation and facility. We feel that there has never been a more important time to create individuals and communities that understand the message, methodology and guidance of Islam than today. We believe that there is a great need for knowledge that is not only pedagogically sound, authentic, and correct, but at the same time relevant, practical, and applicable.

So far, we have inspired hundreds of people in the courses, events and lectures we have organised and continue to organise, and we hope that you can join us in this journey.
