Alhamdulillah, the Home Ed Club has been successfully running for two years. It was founded to support the growing community of Muslim home-educating families by providing a structured yet flexible environment rooted in Islamic values. Our programme offers children access to core academic subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Islamic Studies, while also nurturing their personal and social development. The content and structure of the Home Ed Club has been ever evolving and adaptable based on the needs of children and our access to resources. This year, the Home Ed Club will be running for 2 days a week.
Subjects
The subjects are: Ghazali Children’s Curriculum, English, Maths, & rotating exposure to Arts & Humanities. Additional subject and curriculum information will be provided to successful applicants.
The children will be split up into small groups of approximately 8-9 in their respective age range. There will be no more than 2 year groups in each core class. This allows teachers and children to build a rapport and enjoy their learning time together. The core subject teachers are qualified and experienced teachers and our mission is to deliver lessons in a hands on and relevant manner.
Our Teachers
Our teachers consist of qualified and experienced staff and also individuals who are well-versed in their subject matter with DBS.
