Class Guidelines and Rules

Note to Parents

One of the major aims of the madrasa is to impart Islamic etiquettes and decorum in the students and this begins by helping us to develop the right attitude in the students. You must tell your children to respect their teacher and inculcate in them the reverence for sacred knowledge before coming to the sessions. The relationship between parents and teachers is one of partnership and parents must play their role in order for the session to be successful.

General Guidelines & Terms

·       The Madrasa fees are paid for the course as a whole and they do not represent a fee for each session. Therefore, if a session gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, then this will not affect the course fee and a refund will not be issued.

·       In very rare circumstances, the class may need to be rescheduled or cancelled. We will endeavour that this does not happen, but we will always keep the parents informed.

·       All communication will take place in the dedicated WhatsApp group. Any direct questions or queries can be directed to info@saeedinstitute.org, or to the madrasa admin: Sr Fazila via WhatsApp.

·       Parents are requested to encourage the students to take the course seriously and engage the sessions. Homework will be provided, and parents must ensure that the students complete the homework.

·       Any students who consistently misbehave in class will be given a formal warning and the parents will be informed. If after a formal warning the student continues to misbehave, then the student will be given a second warning, if after the second warning the students behaviour remains below par, then they will be removed from the class without a refund.

·       Examples of misbehaviour include: Constantly talking in class, not listening to the teacher, arguing with the teacher, insulting or bullying other class mates, consistently not doing the homework set, not showing any signs of engagement in the class, being rude, swearing, and being consistently late (more than 20 minutes).

·       Tests will be provided throughout the course and marks will be accumulated at the end of the course. 70% is the pass mark to be able to continue to the next madrasa year.

·       If you are struggling to pay the course fee, then please get in contact. We may be able to provide a scholarship for your child or give a discounted rate depending on your situation.

·       All absences must be authorised and the madrasa admin must be informed as soon as possible. Three unauthorised absences will lead to the student being removed.
