Join us for an educational home-ed trip to Martin Mere WWT, with a day of guided learning, wildlife exploration and plenty of time to enjoy the wider site as a family.

There are 20 child places available, priced at £12 per child. Each family may also book one included adult place, with 10 free adult places available in total. Additional adults are £13.50 each, with 10 additional adult places available. Siblings under 5 are free, with 15 places available.

The trip includes two 30-minute guided workshops for participating children: Pond Explorers, which includes pond dipping, and a Mini Beasts Safari.

Please note that siblings who are not taking part in the workshops will not be able to enter the education space during the sessions. They should remain with a parent or accompanying adult and can use that time to explore other areas of the site.

We will meet at 10:00am. Families will need to make their own way to Martin Mere, as transport is not provided.

After the workshops, families are welcome to continue exploring the site. Martin Mere closes at 6:00pm, and other activities and areas include adventure play areas, bug-hunting zones, bird hides, paddle and play areas, and the canoe safari and boat tour. Please note that the canoe safari and boat tour must be booked separately and carry an additional charge.
