The intention behind the camping trip is to foster suhba, strengthen community bonds and reconnect with nature, with much of the weekend being intentionally informal. While there may naturally be opportunities for beneficial conversations and reminders, the trip is not being organised as a structured religious programme. Instead, it offers families the chance to enjoy quality time together, build meaningful connections and appreciate the blessings of the natural world.

Throughout the weekend, guests can look forward to sharing meals, gathering around the campfire, exploring the outdoors and praying together as a community. Included activities will feature a farm tour and animal interaction, in shā’ Allāh. Depending on numbers and demographics, additional excursions such as countryside hikes and other outdoor activities may also be arranged.

Whether you're an experienced camper or pitching a tent for the very first time, this retreat is designed to be welcoming, family-friendly and enjoyable for all ages.

TENT OPTIONS

To help you prepare for the camping trip, please see the accommodation options available below:

1. Bring Your Own Tent/Sleeping Bags - if you already own camping equipment, you are very welcome to bring your own tent and set up independently.

2. Saeed Institute Tent Hire - a limited number of tents will be available to hire directly through Saeed Institute. 3-man occupancy or 2 adults and 2 young children - £20 per night. Availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Purchase Your Own Tent - if you would prefer to invest in your own equipment, basic tents can be purchased from many retailers at relatively low cost: 2-person tents: from approximately £25 / 3–4 person tents: from approx. £50.

4. Third-Party Tent Hire - there are a number of online companies offering tent hire options, ranging from simple camping setups to more premium packages: basic tents: from approximately £20 / larger or higher-specification tents: up to approximately £100.

5. Willowbrook Farm Bell Tent Packages (via a third-party provider) - for those seeking a more comfortable “glamping” experience, these are fully prepared bell tents, including beds and complete set-up and pack-down £220 (2 nights), suitable for 2–3 people / £320 (2 nights), suitable for up to 4 people.
