Amidst the turbulence and bustle of our daily lives, the tranquil hearts retreat offers the opportunity to reconnect with the Divine in the presence of the men of God to find tranqulity and peace once again.

VENUE & ACCOMODATION
The retreat will be held at Nant Gwrtheyrn, a unique coastal heritage centre nestled above the sea on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula in Pwllheli. Surrounded by dramatic mountain and shoreline scenery, the venue offers a peaceful and inspiring setting for reflection, learning, and rest.
The site features comfortable accommodation, welcoming communal spaces, and direct access to exceptional walking routes and the natural beauty of the North Wales coast. With its tranquil atmosphere, stunning sea views, and distinctive character, Nant Gwrtheyrn provides an ideal environment for retreat, connection, and renewal.
There are a variety of cottages on a sharing basis, which will be allocated after a registration form is received and approved - on a first come first serve basis. There is limited space at this retreat and so we advise that you apply early to avoid disappointment.

ACTIVITIES & ITINERARY
A full itinerary will be provided when you arrive at the retreat however attendees will have the chance to participate in spirituality classes with Shaykh Ismail, attend gatherings of remembrance, pray in congregation, recite litanies together at specific times and have the opportunity to socialise and spend time with Shaykh Ismail and guest teachers.

From Wednesday 5th August (2pm) until Sunday 9th August (10am).

Adults and over 12s: £495 (£450 Early-bird*)
Children 4 to 11: £250 (£200 Early-bird*)
Children 3 and under: free
Prices include breakfast, lunch and dinner.
*Early-bird discount ends on Sunday 17 May 2026 at 10pm
There is limited capacity at the retreat so we cannot guarantee the acceptance of all applications. Places will be allocated after completing registration and payment on a first come first serve basis.

A variety of freshly cooked meals on site.
CHILDREN
There are limited spaces for family applications with children. We have separate activities available for children (4 - 11 years of age) for a small fee (£10 per day) including arts & crafts, nature walks, children’s mawlids and more.

If your application is successful, the admissions team will contact you with payment details to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your place. The deposit must be paid within 5 days from the date of the invoice.
The remaining balance must be paid by 30 June 2026 to help us meet our booking commitments. Failure to make payment by this date may result in your place being reallocated to someone on the waiting list.
If all places have been filled, you will automatically be placed on the waiting list and contacted should a place become available.
If you are travelling from abroad, please ensure that any visa requirements and other travel arrangements are in place before paying your deposit.

No - attending for fewer than 4-nights is not available.
To preserve the continuity and full benefit of the retreat programme, places are offered on the basis of attendance for the full 4-nights only. We therefore ask all attendees to commit to the entire duration of the retreat.

The retreat is residential only, and attendance is offered on the basis of the full 4-night programme. Unfortunately, shorter stays or partial attendance are not available, as we aim to preserve the continuity and collective benefit of the retreat experience for all attendees.

In general, the hanafi school does not permit a woman to travel beyond a distance of approx. 48 miles (77km) without a mahram unless out of necessity. We encourage that you assess your personal circumstances against the above before applying.
