-       The concept of relied upon legal verdict in the Hanafi School and a look into the guidelines of a mufti and their utility and application at the different levels; governmental, judicial, the level of the mufti, and the level of individual.

-       The permissibility of having more than one fatwā on an issue and the various methodologies employed by contemporary Hanafi scholars to ascertain the soundest position in the Hanafi School using the issue of the beard as an example scenario. 

-       How to understand maslaha and its role in the Hanafi School in changing the fatwa

-       The guiding principles to leave the relied upon fatwa when issuing a legal verdict
