A Focused Qur’an Programme for Adults
This programme is dedicated to helping adults perfect the recitation of the short, oft-recited sūrahs that accompany us in daily prayer.
Through guided practice and a nurturing environment, participants will learn to refine their tajwīd, master correct makhārij (pronunciation), and explore the delicate art of maqāmāt—the melodic modes that bring the recitation of the Qur’an to life.
Beyond technical precision, this course aims to awaken a deeper connection to the divine word, transforming each recitation into an act of devotion and presence.
Each session is an opportunity not only to strengthen your voice and confidence in tilāwah, but to taste the sweetness of reciting the Qur’an with beauty, humility, and awareness.

Course Dates: Every Wednesday for 6 weeks starting 29 October 2025
Time: 7.30pm - 9pm
Classroom hours: 1.5 hours per session (9 hours in total)
