This intermediate course is designed for those already acquainted with the art of inshād who wish to refine their vocal skill, deepen their spiritual presence, and perfect their performance of traditional devotional poetry.

Building upon the foundations of rhythm, melody, and articulation, this level delves into the subtleties of delivery, emotional resonance, and adab (spiritual etiquette) that define the accomplished munshid. Participants will explore advanced techniques of vocal control, tone modulation, and phrasing, while studying select qaṣā’id and inshād forms from across the classical tradition.

This course is ideal for:

  • Practising munshidīn seeking to enhance the sincerity, depth, and polish of their recitation.

  • Those aiming to align technical mastery with inner spiritual refinement.

  • Performers wishing to lead gatherings of remembrance with grace, humility, and beauty.

By the end of this course, participants will have strengthened both voice and presence—learning not merely to sing, but to convey love, reverence, and remembrance through sound.
